Recovering blank textbook pages or silent audio
Separate unavailable material, load failure and playback state, and report reproducible details.
Check the material and failure scope
Confirm the selected book, lesson and available material, and inspect a loading or error indication. Allow one load, retry once if appropriate, then compare another material or lesson to locate the scope. If only a companion fails while the Main Text works, report that resource rather than repeatedly refresh the whole site.
Inspect playback and output separately
When playback appears active, inspect device volume, mute, headphones or Bluetooth output and whether position advances. Separate a failed track load from a playable but wrong section. Compare a known working sound to identify device-wide silence; record a single failing track without assuming a server cause.
Report the resource and continue a usable task
Record URL, book, lesson, material or track, device/browser, time and error, including whether another resource works. Preserve important notes before changing browser context; do not begin by clearing all data. If text works without audio, continue reading, independent attempts or old-error checks until listening is available.
Example
Example report: phone/browser, Minna Elementary II Lesson 26 conversation, readable text but audio load error, current URL and time. Include task-relevant details.
Check your understanding
Classify the issue as unavailable, wrong section, load failure or silent playback and record one check result.
Explanation
The result should narrow the scope. Mark the cause unknown when evidence does not establish it.
Find your question
- A textbook stays blank on my phone. How can I distinguish slow loading, a browser issue, and an unavailable material?
- The Main Text opens but the companion fails. Should I refresh the whole site or report that material?
- The player says it is running but I hear nothing. Which device and track states should I check?
- Audio fails but the text works. What can I study today, and which details help report the problem?
