Reading history and notes across browser contexts

Check which browser holds your reading records, find your place in each document and note where to continue.

Understand the browser scope

Positions and notes are local to the current browser, with no account-based cross-device sync. Notes on a laptop but not a phone need not indicate failed saving. Another browser or private window may use a different storage context; do not rely on its lifetime as a durable record.

Check lesson and material positions separately

Continue studying can restore the lesson while text and answer materials have different positions. Confirm book, lesson and material, then locate the exercise or opening independently. A digital page number alone is insufficient. Close or switch from a mobile tool to reading rather than clear records to recover the view.

Leave a minimal continuation record

Use a stable device/browser and end with lesson, section, last independent task, one unresolved point and next action. Copy important notes before clearing site data. Deleted records cannot be guaranteed recoverable; rebuild a starting point from retained tasks and errors without claiming the lost content was recovered.

Example

Continuation note: Minna Elementary II Lesson 26 | Exercise B | one independent item | に/で uncertain | retry it without the model before the next item.

Check your understanding

Before closing, record one task sufficient for tomorrow and keep important content in your usual durable place.

Explanation

The written record locates the task on another device but does not automatically retrieve that browser’s notes.
